Three days in Colombo

The Airline Pilots' Guild of Sri Lanka (ALPGSL) is proud to welcome OCCC delegates to Colombo for the Fall Conference 2026.

On 16 November the Aviation Safety Symposium brings pilots, regulators, policymakers, operators and international safety organisations together to discuss Positive Safety Culture, Peer Support and Reduced Crew Operations. The OCCC Biannual Meeting follows on 17 and 18 November.

Delegates are asked to arrange their own accommodation and travel, and to confirm the entry requirements for their visit.

Getting there

Fly into Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB), Katunayake, about 32 km from the hotel. Uber and PickMe both operate airport transfers; follow the in-app instructions for the pickup point. Taxi counters are in the arrivals lobby and porch, and hotel transfers can be arranged. Confirm the fare, including tolls, before you set off and allow for traffic.

Visa and entry

Delegates are responsible for their own entry permission. Conferences count as business-purpose visits. Passports should be valid for at least six months from arrival. Most visitors need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before travelling, so check your nationality's requirements well in advance.
